Sorry to hear that it did not work for you. Regarding IDT sound, There are two more steps you can try:- Maya 3d for mac free download.
1. Make sure to close all media players/recorders that you may have running, and go to the sound properties from the system tray, under the 'advanced' tab of your both your 'Playback devices'/speaker, and 'Recording devices'/stereo mix or mic, and make sure to set sample rate to 24 bit, 48000 Hz. Do not click on 'Test' in the properties window and do not launch any audio/video apps. Restart your system. If that doesn't work, try a lower sample rate setting.
2. If the above did not work for all your speakers, then you may have to install windows Generic sound driver. To do so, you need to first disconnect from the internet. Second, completely uninstall and remove the IDT driver from your system (Instructions 1 through 6 only, in my reply to CesarMontes). While still being disconnected from the internet, restart your system and wait for it to completely finish rebooting Windows 10 before connecting to the internet. Now, you should be on Windows 10 generic audio driver, and hopefully all your speakers will work.

Regarding your HP Recovery DVD, You can still use them to go back to Windows 8, but first, you must go to your system bios, and change the order of the boot devices by selecting the DVD/disk drive as your primary/first device to boot your system and saving your new settings. Now, put your HP system disk in your drive, restart your system while pressing and holding ESC or F10 depending on your system until the pop up window appears, and select boot manager or recovery to boot your system from the DVD.
Note: Your DVD may boot your system to Win 8, and you may want to upgrade it to Win 8.1 via Windows store app.

One bug leads to another; one fix patch opens up another. This is what is happening with Windows 10 1809 update which was released only a few days back. While the release had fixed known problems and user file deletion issue, it seems to have introduced other issues. Cumulative Updates released for Windows 10 v1809 causes Blue Screen & breaks Audio for some.
For some HP users, it is causing BSOD because of driver incompatibility issue, while those who are using SST or Intel Smart Sound Technology (ISST) Driver is not able to hear any sound post-1809 update. There is noting wrong with your system, and only patches from the OEMs will help. Meanwhile, there are some workarounds that may help you.

Some HP Laptops see WDF_VIOLATION Blue Screen
This is a remote issue where HP users receive the blue screen error. This BSOD shows up for HP’s keyboard driver. While it wasn’t there with 1809, it is being reported after the rollout of the recent Cumulative Update KB4464330 or KB4462919. It seems Microsoft is aware of this and this came in as confirmation from a consumer.
We’re aware of the issue and working with HP to investigate.

Microsoft has a put a pause on the Update rollout for those PCs. As per the Microsoft agent, this is a known issue for 17763.55 cumulative update.
To fix this, Microsoft has rolled out KB4468304 that explains the issue. You will need to download and install the update.
In working with HP, Microsoft has identified an HP driver with known incompatibility with certain HP devices on Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809. On October 11, 2018 Microsoft removed the driver from Windows Update to reduce the number of devices affected. Additionally, Microsoft has released this update to remove the incompatible driver from devices pending reboot. HP is actively working on this issue.
After installing the HP keyboard driver, version 11.0.3.1, via Windows Update or if you manually installed it, HP devices may experience a blue screen stop error: WDF_VIOLATION.
You can download this KB update from here.
No Audio – Intel Smart Sound Technology (ISST) Driver Issue
If you have Intel Smart Sound Technology, then it’s not Microsoft’s fault, but its Intel’s. The company seems to have accidentally released version 9.21.00.3755 of the Intel Smart Sound Technology (ISST) Driver through Windows Update, and mistakenly offered it to a range of devices running Window 10 ve1803 or 1809. Download mac os 32 bit iso.
Said an Intel spokesman to us:
We are aware that some customers may have received via Windows Update an audio driver not intended for their computer. Microsoft has since removed that driver from Windows Update. If you are running Windows 10 version 1803 or above and are experiencing audio issues, please check to see if you have version 9.21.00.3755 of the Intel® Smart Sound Technology Driver. If so, uninstalling this version is expected to address the related audio issues.
